Built-in protections

• 18+ only. Veluvy is for adults; minors are not permitted.
• Report & block. You can report or block anyone, anytime, from their profile.
• Private profile mode. Control whether your profile appears in search.
• Consent-first messaging. People can only message you after you both match.
• Moderation. Reported profiles are reviewed and can be suspended.

Staying safe

• Keep conversations on Veluvy until you feel comfortable.
• Never send money or share financial details.
• Protect personal info (home address, workplace) until you trust someone.
• Meet in public for first dates and tell a friend where you’ll be.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, it’s okay to stop.

Watch for red flags

• Pressure to move to another app or to share private photos.
• Treat any request for money, gift cards, or crypto as a scam.
• Refusing to video chat or meet, or stories that don’t add up.

Report a problem

Use the Report button on any profile, or email [email protected]. In an emergency, contact your local authorities first.
